Having built a devout following in Las Vegas and the Western US, Heers unleashes his images and characters onto his debut Nashville studio record featuring 12 self-penned songs brought to life by an all-star cast.

Led by bandleader Pat McGrath (Jim Lauderdale, Alison Krauss), Western Stars kicks off with a giant song; "Dirt Rich", a two-stepper about a "wealthy" farmer, and then shifts into a breathtaking journey through country, Americana and folk, including the much talked about “Sarah The Butterfly”.

A native Las Vegan, Heers learned to craft songs while living in Nashville and is on the leading edge of the booming Las Vegas country music scene. Heers draws influence from a long list of songwriting masters including Guy Clark, Steve Earle and Don Schlitz. Vocally, his style is a blend of Don McLean, Garth Brooks, and George Strait.

Western Stars features Dow Tomlin Jr. (Brooks & Dunn) on bass, Mike Rojas (Patty Loveless, Blake Shelton) on keyboards, Drummer Wayne Killius (Big & Rich, Blackhawk), Lead Guitar Mike Durham (Tim McGraw) and Mike Daley (Hank Williams Jr.) on Steel Guitar.

Special guests include Steve Hinson (Kenny Chesney, Willie Nelson) on Steel Guitar, Deannie Richardson (Vince Gill) on Fiddle and Tammy Pierce (Kenny Rogers, Kenny Chesney) on background vocals.

Western Stars was mastered for radio by Hank Williams at MasterMix Nashville.
